A pharmaceutical representative will start at a salary of $38,000-$60,000. If you merely show up you will generally make another $20,000 in bonuses. If you work harder you will make much more.
 
A medical equipment representative will make a salary of $40,000-$100,000. They make the majority of their money in bonus. Most will make $100,000 in bonus in the first year.
 
Don't underestimate the value of stock options, they can be worth a substantial amount of money in just a few years.
