The best news we can give you is that over the last three years the hiring practices of these companies has completely changed. Until recently these companies only hired experienced people with a science background who all tended to look alike.
They have recently discovered that the common element among most of their top representatives is they were recently hired and had no prior experience in the pharmaceutical or medical equipment business.
They were further surprised when they examined their top teams and found they were comprised of people with varied backgrounds and ages. The ideal team had people from all age groups. Some were 21 with no real work experience, while others were ex-teachers, people from industry or former office workers with an equal number in their thirties forties and fifties.
