| Many
people think you need prior pharmaceutical or medical sales
experience to gain a position as a sales representative in these
industries.
Up until
ten years ago this was true for a lot of these companies.
At the very least, they wanted people who had an education with
an emphasis on science. These companies finally realized that these
are sales positions and many people who excelled in the sciences
did not make good representatives.
Pharmaceutical
and medical companies now hire people from all backgrounds.
Age, sex, race, education and experience are not the major factors
in securing a position with one of these companies.
Companies
are no longer hiring out of work people with previous medical
or pharmaceutical sales experience. If they were any good they would
not be unemployed.
They
are also sometimes reluctant to hire people with previous
sales experience as they prefer to train people within the company
style of selling.
When
we, at Pharcor, were in charge of hiring at both pharmaceutical
and medical equipment companies. We hired teachers, real estate
agents, merchandisers, managers, bookkeepers etc. We literally hired
people from almost every job background.
How do you get one of these jobs?
You
use our system for securing interviews; once you see how
it works you will easily understand why you can quickly get interviews.
You
prepare answers to the questions in the tutorial. We give
you all the questions and the answers the interviewer is looking
for. (See sample page for examples.)
These
are incredible jobs. You work out of your home and set
your own hours. You will see your manager about once a month. Once
you get in this industry you will see there are great advancement
opportunities.
